Your profile is your connection to the larger AGNT community. It’s how you let people find you, learn about you, and ultimately book you. That’s why it’s so important to keep your profile up to date and 100% completed. Only profiles with all pertinent information will appear in the AGNT feed, so you’re looking to get booked, make sure your profile is on point first!
Here are 5 tips to help you get noticed and booked on AGNT:
Keep your profile visible
Only profiles that have their location, profile photo, genre, and event types will show up in the AGNT feed. To ensure you can be easily be found by organizers browsing artists, it’s important to make sure your profile fully is completed.
Make a good first impression
Your profile photo is the first things organizers will see, so you want to make a good first impression. Try to pick a well composed professional looking headshot, and avoid blurry images or group shots. To avoid pixelated photos, the optimal size is 1000px X 1000px.
Let people hear you!
Take advantage of AGNT’s music player and upload your own tracks, mixes, and sets up to 4 hrs long. Your musical style is one of the best ways to stand out from other DJs, so make sure your profile includes a taste of your musical style!
Don’t hide your fee
Organizers are usually working with set budgets when planning an event - showing your fee saves them the trouble of trying to guess how much you cost, and gives them more incentive to consider you for their event. Don’t worry, your booking rate is negotiable so you can counter any offer an organizer sends you.
Keep your rating high!
Artists with higher ratings get pushed to the top of the AGNT feed, which provides more visibility to organizers browsing the app. There are a few simple ways you can ensure you keep a high rating:
- Avoid canceling gigs - canceling lowers your reliability rating and makes organizers unsure if they can depend on you.
- Respond to requests quickly - the faster you respond, the more it shows the organizer how eager you are to play.
